About The Silent Knight

This is the synopsis of the series, in its simplest form.
An irate and rebellious Hiad, named Eiron, having already launched a war against the works of Mirari, will stop at nothing to ensure the destruction of his maker’s ultimate handiwork, the Mezothite people. The only hope for the Mezothites lies with Sile, the High Lord’s mute son, whose silent ways are only beginning to be heard through the elite few, his Knights of Colour, whom he recruits in defense of the people.

Labour Day Weekend!

One of our favorite things to do as a family is going to the beach! We have our favorite spot, Picnic Point, that we love to hang out at. Asher, as you can see, loves the beach. He’s a bit of a ham sometimes too...
As summer begins to wind down, we reflect on our life as a family. We have grown, through all the bumps and bruises, and are ready for whatever lies over the sunset. They just grow up so fast!
I find myself pausing every now and then, taking a few seconds to cherish them while they’re still young.  Sure, they will always be my children, but they won’t always be little, innocent children.
My boy and girl love the beach. We wade through the tide pools looking for crabs and other fun little critters. By the end of it all, they’re pooped, giving us a perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy their baby cuteness.
This is one of Asher’s drawings. He called it, “A guy in a diver mask!” His creativity and imagination are taking off! If he can do something this weird at age three, I wonder what he’ll be coming up with in a couple years! Mommy and I think that he will pass our drawing talents up in no time. Just for clarification, the “guy in a diver mask” has his arms attached to his legs, they aren’t his feet. Asher told me so!

What my brother and I did this weekend.

Well, Saturday was a long day. I didn’t get to see my kids at all. Not until I got home late at night did I get to see their peaceful, sleeping, and I might add, angelic faces. My brother (Ted) and I drove to my in-law’s house, the one they’re moving out of, to disassemble a play house I had built for my son. We loaded it up in my brother’s Ford pickup (He loves his truck like a cop loves donuts), and drove it down to my parent’s house in Puyallup, WA. There, we reassembled it, this time off the ground. Now it’s in a place where all my nieces and nephews will be able to enjoy it. So once you’ve seen enough Idaho potatoes, Heather, feel free to come on over and bring your boys! We also had time to help our dad out with a project, and it went relatively quick, for a Haukaas project. We removed old windows from his living-room and replaced them with new, shiny ones!

And yes, the house is green. Look at the windows, look at the windows!

The Silent Knight Series Begins!

A couple reasons why I live and do what I do.

As the world of Paneth begins to crumble, Sile, a mute knight seeks a way to unite his people before they are lost to the void forever. As he captivates them, let him take you captive as well.
